About Nick

Nick’s music spans decades. As a songwriter, storyteller, and multi-creative artist, his passion is ever-expanding.

His influence as worship leader spans thirty years, beginning as a fifteen-year-old leading youth groups, churches, and retreats on transparent slides. Today, he leads his home congregation as well as leading and speaking at retreats and special events.

Recent Years

In September of 2025, Nick expanded his songwriting releases into a new creative venture with the release of “Taylor Loves Travis” - a play on words - grabbing the attention of fans of lo-fi pop and Swifties and ultimately playing in over 40 countries across the world.

To celebrate the 2026 New Year, Nick release (December 29, 2025) a new anthem titled, “New Year”, to encourage you to walk into the new year with your hands held high and focused on God to see you through all times, whether highs or lows, and running into the new year without any fears.

Nick is currently working on new singles, releases, and producing music for his oldest daughter.

Nick has had the ability to enjoy music as an indie artist without the support of any label. He started iamthe2ndman music publishing for his songwriting, which has been used in film/tv/movies. He has opened for mainstream artist such as Sidewalk Prophets, Our Hearts Hero, Geoff Moore, Nate Sallie of NewSong, Nevertheless, John Reuben, John Schlitt (Petra) and John Elefante (Kansas). In recent years he has played on TV networks, garnered votes from around the world to win a songwriting contest and then won again.

Nick’s songs are repeatedly used all over the Hallmark Channel and beyond. His songs have been used on American Idol as an underscore on the show. E! News, Style Network, NASCAR, CMT, eTalk and more have all used Nick’s music on their programming.

He has also been included in Worship Musician, Billboard Magazine, SPIN Magazine, played the famous Stubb’s in Austin, TX, The Paramount in Ashland, KY and has been included in newspapers, music compliation CD’s, magazine articles, as well as press in the UK with radio play and interviews in The Netherlands. Nick has been a WV NewSong Finalist and the music video for “Paint Me Away” has been seen on on various networks.

Nick has led worship for thousands of students for Fuge Camps and more. He is also a speaker/teacher and has shared his “Scars” story with thousands of people. Whether it’s leading worship, playing a concert with a band, an intimate acoustic venue or speaking, God is the sole purpose and reason behind Nick Fry and his music.
